Modern Tanque Verde Ranch Wedding in Tucson, Arizona
You know how it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day? Well it’s 10 times more lucky if it rains on your wedding in the DESERT. That’s what happened on Marianne and Isaac’s big day, which took place last fall at Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. Tanque Verde is one of America’s old-time cattle and guest ranches, sitting on 60,000 acres of Tucson’s stunning desert landscapes. It’s situated among the Rincon Mountains and next to Saguaro National Park and Coronado National Forest. This ranch was established in 1868, and is considered the last luxurious outpost of the old west. The horses, cacti, and stunning mountain views make it a unique and unforgettable place to get married in Arizona.

Marianne and Isaac are both architects based out of Los Angeles, and decided to have a destination wedding in the Arizona desert. It was an easy choice, considering they have family in the area and love all the nature and midcentury modern architecture of Tucson.
The ranch boasts traditional adobe walls and Santa Fe-style architecture. The light salmon colored walls complement the surrounding greens, yellows, and browns of the landscape perfectly.
Marianne’s bridesmaids wore sandy colored dresses of various styles from Fame and Partners.
The rain storm made the desert a gorgeous hue of greens and golds. I couldn’t have asked for better lighting for their wedding photos.
Their wedding flowers, designed and provided by In Full Bloom, featured white calla lilies, roses, ranunculus, and orange-bronze cremones. The pop of orange looked awesome with the desert landscape.
Their wedding ceremony took place outside in front of the jagged mountains and towering cacti. They kept their ceremony decor simple- comprised of two statement floral pieces placed on top of rustic barrels. They didn’t need much decor, since their natural backdrop was already breathtaking.
I loved Marianne’s personal style, which was simple, chic, and modern. Her dress was from Sarah Seven, and her white wedding boots by Freya Rose.
After the ceremony, the party continued outside for cocktail hour and dinner. I loved the burnt orange table runners and personalized matchbook wedding favors.
Their wedding pie was provided by Sydney’s Sweet Shoppe (a local Tucson pie shop), and featured their names on top.
Marianne and Isaac’s chic, desert wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch was romantic, memorable, and full of gorgeous colors. Congratulations to the two of you, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
