About Anna Zajac

With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, Anna works with her clients to put them at ease with her calming presence and easygoing personality. She sincerely wants to know what inspires your sense of togetherness as a couple. The relationship she builds with each of her clients is a huge part of how she creates. Anna considers herself a professional observer of humanity and is always in pursuit of the magic of human connection.

Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communication and design which she considers to be an influence into how she approaches storytelling on a wedding day. Before becoming a wedding photographer, she worked for VSA Partners as a graphic designer.

After the birth of her daughter, Anna started a sister company called Unhurried Wonderful where she captures the stories of women, mothers and families
on 35mm film.

When she’s not at a wedding, Anna loves to be outside in nature and capture daily life with her daughter, Valentina on 35mm film. She loves early mornings in the desert, Van Morrison albums, architecture from the 70’s and the work and life of Georgia O’Keeffe. She is most inspired by anything that is honest and thoughtfully made. Anna’s work has been featured in The Knot, The New York Times, Carats and Cake and Together Journal. She works seasonally between Chicago, Illinois (spring, summer, fall) and Tucson, Arizona (winter and spring). In the past, weddings have taken her to the Bay Area, LA, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Sedona, Flagstaff, Brooklyn, and Upstate New York.
