20 Images: A Gentleman's Cocktail Hour
20 images is a side project that allows me to share stories about people, places and things in 20 images - no more, no less. Andrew is a midwest designer and modern day gentleman with a knack for crafting cocktails. He makes his own bitters and collects bottles of unusual liquor for his mixed drinks. When he's not freelancing, Andrew is playing a record and smoking his pipe. After arriving at his home in Logan Square, I was greeted with collections of old typewriters, cabinets full of vintage drink glasses and everything else you'd imagine to be found in one of Wes Anderson's movies. In honor of Spring, Andrew allowed me to capture his process of making a blackberry basil cocktail with french cognac.
