20 Images: Wandering New York
This summer I took a trip to meet up with friends in Brooklyn. I stayed in a quaint airbnb set up in East Williamsburg and rented a bike for the weekend. Going into this series for the 20 images project, I had my heart set on telling this beautiful and consistent story with a great opener and a dynamic close. However, when I was actually in New York I found myself overwhelmed and unsure as to exactly what I wanted to photograph for this series. I was shooting with intention, but as my toughest critic, I don't think I really told a story with this series. These images are simply just what I saw in between bike rides and meeting up with friends; a compilation of views from some wholehearted, aimless wandering.
